The Melbourne Flamenco beginners class started again this term on the 16th July 2008. We follow a similar term schedule to Melbourne Schools, but you are more than welcome to join the beginners class at any stage during the term. Unlike tango - with which, it often gets compared - flamenco is not just one dance but a whole range of dances and skills.
During our flamenco dance classes in Melbourne you will be learning the essentials of flamenco dance posture, flamenco compas and timing, the exciting and infectious rhythms of flamenco footwork combined with the grace and beauty of flamenco arms and turns. Throughout your lessons with Melbourne Flamenco you will be exposed to a variety of different dance styles covering a range of different flamenco forms.
Its sexy, its stimulating and you will be learning from one of the best flamenco dance teachers in Melbourne.
Drop in, upstairs at Underbelly Dance Studios. Corner of Smith St and Greeves St in Fitzroy this Wednesday night (See sidebar for current venue and class times) and see how you go.
